About Me

My name is Amanda Curcio and I am a graduate of Brooklyn College with a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies. I have reported and written on a variety of topics, ranging from hard-hitting news stories to light entertainment, but my interests truly lay in the entertainment journalism realm. My goal as a professional working in the journalism and media world is to work in the entertainment field and to report on feel-good topics for the everyday media consumer, as well as use my artistic abilities within my work to engage my audience. I have work experience as a media creation and communications specialist for a private preschool in Brooklyn, New York, as well as keeping myself busy with freelance work for numerous independent companies.
